1966 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray 327 Auto Roadster

Red with black interior. Very very nice condition throughout. we stripped and repainted this car in 2006 and the paint still looks fresh! Fabulous looking with refurbished knock off wheels. new tyres. nbsp;and sounds awesome with the factory side exhausts. This has a fresh MOT and is ready to go.
This really is a very nice mid year roadster. the body is very straight. Rally Red paint is lovely. we spent a lot of time on all gaps. bonnet. headlights. decklid and doors. and these are as nice as the very best C2 Corvettes out there. if not better. All brightwork and chrome is very nice. as is all glass and trim. all weatherstripping is in A1 condition and the car really needs nothing. it is ready to drive or show. and has placed well in several events including best Corvette at the Stars and Stripes american car show.
The interior is very nice and presents very well. we refurbished the dash at the same time and this is lovely. as is the glovebox door. seat covers and door panels are superb. the carpet is very good. it all looks very original and proper. It certainly is a very nice place to spend ones time and needs no fettling.
The soft top looks very nice and fits very well indeed. I have a feeling this may have been replaced by us at the same time. We have just had the knock off wheels powdercoated and diamond cut. and fitted new American Classic whitewall tyres. these have done zero miles. The side exhaust covers are like new. this system was fitted at the same time as the car was painted and looks and sounds superb.
The car drives extremely well. starts and runs just like you would expect. and the 327 pulls very well and the two speed Powerglide shifts as it should. This is not the original block but certainly looks stock and performs very well indeed. These 327's are just the nicest engine!
Underneath is very good. no nasties around the chassis or birdcage. the chassis is unrestored and is very good and solid. The car has received regular maintenance and has recently had two new rear calipers fitted. and we have just replaced the idler arm. this car has power steering and power brakes so is a breeze to drive. Originally fitted with air conditioning. the compressor has been removed so a new one would need installing and the AC system gone through to reinstate this.
There's a lot of cars out there that look the part but it only goes skin deep. this is a long time owned. well maintained mid year Corvette that can be enjoyed how you like. driven. polished. nbsp;shown. whatever floats your boat. It needs no cosmetics and no mechanical. is not going to surprise or embarrass you. and is just going to be the delightful experience that a well kept classic car should be. It is also priced realistically and priced to sell.
