A Very Special Citroen 2CV

This is rather a special 2CV 6 SPECIAL built in Paris France in 1985

We purchased it directly from young movie actress Tuppence Middleton who in turn bought it directly from the film company who used the car in Danny Boyles latest film ‘TRANCE'.

        Here is a picture of the car in the film    

Tuppence was filmed in the car in ‘TRANCE' alongside James McAvoy in a ‘dream' scene where the 2CV could be seen happily driving along in the sunny South of France. The movie producers used special effects to make it seem like the car was a left hand drive but in fact was really this actual car that was used in the film.

When we purchased the lovely 2CV car from Tuppence it had recently undergone a full bare metal respray. restoration photos inc (Cost £3000+ in Dec 2012) and looked very fresh and shiny with its lovely eye catching Turquoise & White colour scheme.

We were also fortunate enough to ask Tuppence kindly if she would autograph the bonnet for us which she happily agreed to do for us. of course we have now clear lacquered over this autograph to make sure it remains a part of the car's history for a long time to come.

Very rare to find or obtain an autograph from Tuppence Middleton and to get an autograph on something which she loved is even rarer!!

It could do with a new dashboard and bulkhead fascia soundproofing trim as its a bit worn at a cost of £59 from ECAS 2CV

Just had a brand new service and a 123 electronic ignition kit fitted this month.

So there we have it. a very nice Collectible 2CV that comes with a great movie history with lots of provenance from Miss Middleton like Photos with the car etc!!

We can also show potential buyers plenty of photos of Tuppence with the car when you come to view the car but of course we are not going willing to send these pictures on the internet so please dont ask to see them unless you are here in person as we will NEVER send these pictures over the internet.

Wont be selling cheap so no silly offers please.
