Technical specifications, photos and description:
Reliant Scimitar GTE manual with overdrive.
This is a Scimitar GTE ODVE first registered in the February of 1975.
Having purchased this car with the best of intentions of continuing the restoration started by the previous owner. this is now unfortunately not going to happen.
The previous owner had rebuilt the engine. though frustratingly there is no paperwork to prove this. the radiator and steering rack have also been reconditioned. though the steering column has not been connected back to the steering rack. The front suspension has been re-bushed with polyurethane bushes with the front springs and shock absorbers replaced. There is also a pair of Monroe shock absorbers for the rear along with the polyurethane bushes.
The body work generally seems to be in fairly average condition. poor in places as shown in the pictures. the interior is also fairly average. There are inevitably parts missing. most noticeably one of the bumpers. The hinges have broken off of the rear tailgate hence it being taped in place. It does have a particularly nice windscreen for all those looking for one for their Consul Capri. The V5 shows 8 previous owners.
Viewings are welcome. please message me to arrange. Cash on collection would be preferred and please note that the car will require transportation to remove though the car rolls and steers freely.
