Barn/garage stored for the past 5 years or so. needs some tlc but by no means a basket case.

Very nice colour combination and will make a stunning car once again with minimal effort. we have had it running briefly using a slave fuel supply. the engine sounds fine.

We only recovered this today and from a good look round it I can see the following that will need attention.

The fuel will need draining from the tank and filling with fresh fuel. the n/s door has at some time caught in the wind and strained the metal hinge. no damage to the fibreglass but it will probably need a replacement door hinge.

I would replace the timing belt

The body generally is very good with no crazing or micro blistering. to make it immaculate a couple of small areas would need touching in.

The n/s window will not wind back up (should be a simple fix)

Of course there could be other small issues but these are the ones I can see.

All classic lotus's are worth good money now and these have been overlooked for a long time however prices are rising rapidly the same as it is for all 70's and 80's cars.


I would expect serious buyers to either come and look or at least contact me to talk about the car.
