MG ZS+ Black Very low miles MOT No Reserve

 Back in May my brother was looking for a second car for a couple of weeks whilst his TVR was in for repair. I was at a local classic car auction and saw this MG ZS+ and was taken with just how good the condition was for the age. and the mileage of approx 48k went some way to explain this. and with 4 new tyres I bought it for him and drove it home. Whilst it was at mine I gave it an oil and filter change. the exhaust flexi pipe was blowing so I changed that and there was a slight rumble from a wheel bearing. so I changed that as well. I then drove it the 600 miles from my place near Aberdeen to his place near Gatwick and it drove like a dream. returning a better than expected fuel consumption. I should explain that my brother maintains his cars in immaculate condition. but lacks the facilities to do mechanical repairs. so I wanted to make sure it was 100% before he got it.

Three weeks later he got his TVR back but liked the MG so much he decided to keep it as it was much better for the shop run than the TVR. However. today his eldest son left for university leaving his car behind. so one of them has to go. As it would be epensive to insure his son on the MG. it is that which has to go. The car is in fantastic condition for its age. with good bodywork and a lovely interior. There is a small area of wear on the bolster of the drivers seat (shown in the photo) but that is really the only indication of its age. There is a good modern stereo CD player fitted. The car has 4 nearly new tyres and has only covered 49. 00 miles from new. however it is still in use so the mileage may go up a bit. It is a good runner. has 5 speed. central locking. alarm. PAS. electric windows at front. front and rear fog lights and body kit.

The car is not without its faults. There is no service history (it did not come with the car when I bought it). the air conditioning has been disconnected. the exhaust has started to blow slightly from the manifold (this should be an easy fix and is probably my fault as I did not want to over tighten the nuts when I replaced the flexi pipe and I suspect it has worked loose. My brother also tells me that there is an occasional slight rattle under the bonnet. but says it is not getting any worse. so I suspect it may be a heat shield but as I am 600 miles away I cannot confirm this. Please feel free to go and look at the car to satisfy yourself.

The car is located near Crawley if you want to see it. It is a very smart and useable car which with a little TLC could make a future classic (after all. it was accepted in the local classic car auction I bought it from!). For sale with no reserve. so grab a bargain. the wheels and tyres are probably worth the starting price alone.
