Austin A30 1953 4 in NSW

  We're moving. and in reviewing our logistics. have regretfully decided that "Noddy" the Austin is up for sale.     In general. the car is great runner in overall good serviceable condition. having undergone a near completed project refit to offset its 60 odd years of age.  Always garaged. the panelling is virtually rust free and straight. and has been well painted.  All that remains is the re-trimming of the interior/upholstery. and the dash/interior wiring could do with a finishing tidy up.  The motor is the later larger bore 948cc unit.   The tyres are brand new. and have never touched the road.  The brakes have some new components and are working to their English standard.  All major lights (head. brake. tail and indicators) are operating. as is the horn and wipers.  Basically. what you see in the photos forms part of the description.    Other features include:-  Brand new alternator converted electrics. new battery. pointless electronic ignition with sports coil and leads; new radiator. water pump and speedo cable; new engine mounts; totally reco'd higher compression head with brand new valves and guides; a new alloy tappet cover. sports air cleaner. new lap/sash seatbelts and x4 new hubcaps.   It also comes complete with a spare gearbox. radiator. grill. SU carb and manifold. original air cleaner. starter motor. clutch pressure plate. spare tyre. crank handle. and sundry other small items.    Located in Balranald s/w NSW (near Swan Hill).
