I bought this Cabriolet. straight after it was imported in Dec 2013. In fact swapped it for a Porsche 944 Cabriolet.
The colour is River Blau Metallic. it has been painted at some stage in its life in the USA. But it's a cracking colour. Some age related chips etc

MOT'd till April or May 2016. 71. 00 miles.  
New mohair hood and inner padding fitted last year. As well as all new hood to Window seals.
Down side original drivers side seat squab vinyl cracked but totally original. head liner saggy around rear window. but didn't want to replace it for a non standard factory item. Original hood bag. Both hinge covers present. one slightly cracked. but orig. not fibre glass replacements.

3 sets of original keys. 2 X still with supplying dealers tags on them. Original supplying dealers hand over folder.

Strong original Fuel Injected engine and gear box. heat exchangers and single tip exhaust. all solid. EGR indicator in central clock. Orig EFI brain with new fuel pump relay.
Still running on orig fuel pressure return evaporator and charcoal emission filter (under O/S rear wing)

Original blue spot blaupunk radio cassette. Clock works. blower works. leather rimmed wheel. Complete new rubber floor mat from VW heritage.  

Newly powder coated GT lamertz stamped wheels. 4 X new Verstein tyres. 4 X centre caps and nut covers. Original never used whitewall spare on GT rim.

Period original Kamei engine lid rain cover fitted.

New 12v fuel pump 
All steering gear and front suspension powder coated. new ball joints and damper inserts.
New cill strengtheners fitted both sides 2 years ago. stone chipped and painted.

New front lower inner arches fitted 2 years ago. stone chipped and painted.

Hood bra covers a stone chip on the bonnet. only small. Don't want to paint bonnet as it will lose that preservation look.

No body rot or floor pan rot at all.
Odd scuff and scratch. but nothing major requiring paint.
Big bumpers with orig rubbers.

Big front indicators

Door bottoms solid and rear quarters absolutely solid no rot and no filler
Not seen rain whilst I've had it. except getting caught in shower at a show 4 weeks ago.
Would Consider a PX. oval beetle. Karman Ghia. Porsche 914. notch back. fast back
