The TR4A is one of the popular iconic British sports cars of the 1960s and this is a great example. The value of these cars keeps on going up. so this is a great investment. The TR4A is a great drivers car with superb handling from the stiff chassis and independent suspension and has a lot of grunt from the superb powerful engine. This one handles even better than new due to the suspension upgrades and the extra power from the tuned and balanced engine. It is unlikely that you will find many TR4As better than this one. The car underwent a full nut and bolt refit and no stone was left un-turned. She has been restored to a very high specification with money not the object. as you will see in the description below. Since the refit she has been only driven in the dry. She was imported from the US by the previous owner and has been converted to RHD during the refit The specification is as follows: Body. chassis and every component sand-blasted. Any rust was cut out and new metal welded in. (no filler on this car) Painted in 2K paint system The underside has been also painted with 2K. then Stone Chip under the top coat to give extra protection. The underside and inside all compartments have been wax oiled regularly The suspension has been upgraded with new springs and Koni adjustable telescopic dampers all round All bushes have been replaced with poly bushes All nuts and bolts have been replaced with zinc plated.
