This classic was purchased from Highland Motors in High Point. NC and date of delivery was March 16. 1973. I purchased the vehicle in 2010 and to my knowledge am the second owner. Since then. it's accumulated less than 1000 miles. Many maintenance and state inspection records included. Mechanically sound; starts right up with a few pumps of the gas pedal and transmission shifts smoothly. Miles are original -- this car floats down the road and is an absolute blast to drive. All lights. signals. power windows. locks. seats. convertible top (original. with glass back window). cruise control. power antenna and wipers function as they should. Body is straight and rust free. Chrome is in decent shape; leather is original and in excellent condition with the exception of a small blemish on driver's seat. Carpet is clean and front and rear mats and parade boot are included and in good condition. The original steering wheel is also in great condition and there are no cracks on the dash or in glass.   The front fenders (left and right) have been repainted and the color matches but is slightly "off" in bright sunlight. not noticeable to the average person -- it took me over a year to notice. Mechanic confirms absolutely no sign of collision or frame/structural damage.

Known issues:

-A/C not functional
-Driver's side power door lock not functional
-Holes in spare tire cover
-Paint is above-average but there are a few blemishes on the body (small scratches. small area of paint flaking on driver's door. tiny scratches/rock pits on front of hood. etc. ) -- see pictures

You can tell this car was pampered and spent it's life in a garage. It's not a perfect but is in incredible condition for the age. Original 8-track player to be included in sale.   I'm not interested in any trades and if you're reading this. the car is available. but also listed locally.

I am happy to assist with coordination of shipping in any way that I can but strongly encourage a pre-purchase inspection of this vehicle. I consider it between a #2 and 3 based on the Old Car Price Guide scale. and am confident the inspector will confirm the same. I am happy to answer any questions you have but am not a gear head. just a classic car lover who enjoys unique. unmolested low mileage vehicles from the 60s. 70s and beyond.   I've owned a 70 Cadillac Deville convertible. a 68 Pontiac Grand Prix convertible. a 78 Jeep CJ7. a 90 Alfa Romeo Spider and my current daily driver is a 90 Mercedes Benz 420SEL.   Additional detail or pictures available by request.
