1964 Dodge Polara

Hello.   Up for sale is my 1964 Dodge Polara.   The body is largely original with the original two-tone green and sea-foam green colors as well as the original green interior.   The headliner was replaced as well as the front bench seat to bucket-style seats.   The rear deck has speakers installed for whatever head unit is placed within the car.   The car runs. drives. and brakes well and all the glass is good.   Doors. hood and trunk latch properly. All lights work and rust is limited and minimal only to spots at the rear mounting tab of the front fenders.

The internals are no longer stock. however.   The engine is a Muscle Motors. 511 stroker crate motor built from a 400. the engine has been dynoed and documented with horsepower @ 600+ with torque reaching 700+.   The engine and dyno test runs are both documented and easily available.   DUI distributor.

The transmission is a bullet-proof John Cope racing 3 speed 727 and mates perfectly to the engine with a PTC 3000 stall converter.   It is actuated with a B&M billet aluminum pistol shifter.   I have an additional PTC 2000 stall converter.

The rear-end is a DTS Dana 60 posi-traction with 3. 54 gears

The braking system is a Hydratech Hydro-boost plumbed with disc brakes up front and 11" drum brakes out back.   The car stops when it's supposed to.

The custom drive shaft was appropriately built by a local speed shop.

The exhaust is all TTI from the step headers through the x-pipe out the back.

Wheels are 15" American Torque Thrust.   BF Goodrich 275/60/15 out back. 225/70/15 up front.

Aeromotive 20 gallon fuel cell with 1" braided line resides in the trunk. Fuel pump within cell. It is plumbed up front to an Aeromotive fuel regulator to a Holley 750 double pumper. Battery is in the trunk with a kill switch.

Aluminum radiator with electric fan system and hi-flow water pump works just fine cooling the block.  

The car just needs to be fine-tuned.   The transmission shifting assembly needs to be honed in and the car's power-band needs to be dialed in and properly used.   Carburetor needs to be tuned; currently runs rich.
