We are proud to offer for sale this gorgeous and rare example of a 1963 Dodge Dart GT. The GT was the top of the line model in the Dart for 1963.

This particular example was imported into the UK from New Jersey in February of this year by one of our clients. We were so impressed with its condition we purchased it from him.  It is in excellent and original condition having had a respray at sometime in the past. It has been finished to a very high standard and not the usual " drive in drive out" American respray.

The interior is fitted with the original bucket seats ( one of the standard GT fittings ) but they have started to rip and to make the interior perfect would benefit from new covers.

The Dart GT came with the option of Chrysler's bulletproof Slant 6 engine or the 273 cu in V8. This one is fitted with the 225 cu in Slant 6 that is mated to a 3 speed automatic box with Pushbutton selector on the dash ( returns about 28 mpg on a run ). The engine runs faultlessly and the gearbox shifts as it should. Since we have had the car we have fitted a Petronix electronic ignition and a High Torque starter just to make it a little more useable and reliable.

The car is an utter dream to drive and is by far the best driving Mopar ( or in fact any classic car ) we have owned. I would have no issues in driving this car anywhere. In fact since in our care we have probably done a good 500 plus miles in it.

The car is MOT'd till the end of February 2017 and is obviously tax exempt.

It is with a heavy heart we are putting it up for sale but we have new stock arriving shortly and need to make a bit of room. Our loss will be your gain with this awesome car.
