Here we have a 1969 Ford Futura Wagon

imported in 1969 for the American embassy and then sold to a local that worked there

and driven as a family wagon until 1980 when he dented the right hand rear quarter.

he drove it home and parked it in the shed for 33 years.

I picked it up a few years ago. got it running and fixed the brakes and put tires on it.

I hate to see it go but I just don't have time and hate to see it sitting there.

it's the only one I can find in Australia and even hard to find in the US.

it looks a lot like our XR-XT falcon and a lot of parts fit but this car is longer than the Australian car

has a 2brl 302 Windsor and 3speed column manual and 4 wheel finned drum brakes.

needs exhaust and the dent fixed to have a cool old cruiser that no one else has.
