BMW e30 318is 2.8L MTEC2 Highly Specced Classic!

Welcome to my advert for one of the finest M52 converted E30s on ebay. It's not just eye candy either being handsomely specced with some choice parts as you will see below….

It's a great looking modern-classic that gets complements everywhere. It's also not for the faint hearted being rather low and rather quick! 

The conversion was performed to a very high standard by Shane at Big Perm Customs who specialises in performance & retro german cars. The car. originally a 1990 318is was the perfect base for the build. already specced with 51mm struts. uprated suspension (sway bars etc only found on 32xi/318is models) / brake parts and original M-Tec 2 kit.  

The car has very recently been professionally re-sprayed in original BMW ‘Brilliant-Rot' Red (original car colour). The finish of the paintwork is exceptional and has to be seen in person to do it justice.  

The LSD locks up really well and really is bags of fun compared to the open diff'd e30s I've owned.  

I don't really want to sell this car however. I have a company van for transport and need to save for a mortgage deposit (Boo!).

Front tyres 8mm. rear tyres brand new as of 12/05/16. Comes on the gold BBS reps as pictured (8j/9j staggered setup). (has only done about 200miles since as has been dry stored at my parents house nr. Chepstow).

Spec:

- M52B28 Engine from donor e36 (approx 98k milage). Short sump from e34.  

These engines are perfect for the E30. little to go wrong (single vanos) lightweight aluminium block. plenty of spares & expertise available online should you ever need it.

- M50 Inlet manifold (M52 inlets are very restrictive & this modification allows the engine to really breath!)

- M52 Exhaust manifold (tubular steel not cast)

- Custom Powerflow stainless steel exhaust system fitted early 2015 (cost of over £700 alone with receipts to prove lifetime warranty).  

*4-7k rpm with wide open throttle will make grown men cry/swoon at it's intoxicating tone.

- Mapped ECU (good for approx. 230 - 240bhp)

- E36 Radiator w/ electric fan.

- Balanced & lightened flywheel (v. smooth. v. responsive).

- e30 325i 5 speed manual box

- Short shift linkage from Z3

- Purple tag steering rack

- LSD (cant remember exactly what ratio but is quite short!). not great for motorway cruising - that said. will comfortably glide up to 130mph if you can handle the fuel bill.  

- Front strut brace tightens things up-front (also comes with rear brace which has yet to be fitted).  

- Xenon dip headlamp beams.  

- Beautiful condition chequer sport interior (seats are immaculate. no bolster rips!).  

- Genuine deep-dish OMP racing steering wheel with grippy alcantara.  

- USB / Bluetooth head unit with handsfree. uprated speakers and wiring loom in boot for subwoofer.
