1982 VH SL Commodore (HDT Papaya Pack)

Here we have a 1982 VH Commodore wearing the Rare Papaya Duco including striping and decals. I purchased this car 2 years ago as a drivable project however I dont have the time and resources to complete the job. The 253 V8 doesn't blow any smoke and has a tough sounding exhaust note. the bodywork and interior are in average condition however mechanically the car is quite sound. I've taken a photo of option tag (see left) which clearly indicates that the colour of the car is papaya. You may noticed that I have removed the radio and speakers as they were a relic from the early nineties and effectively useless. Hopefully the images provide a good overview of the condition of the car. its not perfect by any stretch (however it is 34 years old).

Features Blue 253 V8(NB. Aircleaner has incorrect capacity decal). 4 Speed Manual. Power Steering. 4 Wheel Disc Brakes. Limited Slip Differential. Towbar. Extractors. New Exhaust System. VS Senator Mag Wheels. Aircon setup (disconnected. some assembly required). Remote Central Locking. Additional Photos can be viewed Here Recently installed New front wheel bearings. brake rotors and pads. Front caliper kit. Ignition Leads. Spark Plug. Rotor Button. Matched door. boot and ignition key set. Oil and Air Filters. Penrite HPR40. Issues Rust in bottoms of doors. around rear window. boot channel and bonnet(see Image Slideshow above). Broken speedo cable (100km/h standing still). Noisy tappets (should clear up with a good run). Passenger-side front brake not operational (brakeline clampped off due to leak).
