Thanks for viewing my listing.  This is a completely mechanically sorted 1960 Biscayne.  Please look at comparable listings as you will see either fully restored cars or basket cases.  Great combination of restoration. preservation and original.  Fresh. professionally rebuilt 454. bored . 60 over. 455HP / 513LBFT - Engine Builder Dyno test provided  Rebuilt Muncie M20 4 Speed by David's 4 SpeedsRebuilt shift linkage with new bushingsRebuilt Hurst Shifter Heavy Duty billet center carrier bearingNew front power disc brakes. rear power drumsRebuilt suspension with new heavy duty springs. gas shocks and poly bushingsFront anti-sway barNew aluminum radiator. runs very cool all day longFull gauges with new TachometerModern electronic ignitionNew 3/8" fuel lines from new sending unit in tank to new high volume mechanical pumpNo leaks on garage floor  I've owned the car for 7 years and have nursed it back to health from a rough start.  I started front to back. paid a lot of money to very good mechanics along the way and fixed as many of the smaller things myself.  This is a very well sorted car.  All components play nicely together and the car drives down the road straight and dependably (and very quickly if needed).  Stops on a dime. rides very comfortably and handles as well as a big car can.  I drive the car routinely to local shows and cruises and it has always stayed indoors under my watch.  It's a great combination of preservation. restoration and survivor.  This is no trailer queen and it really likes to be driven.  Very docile when cruising around. light clutch action. strong brakes and very light manual steering. but can turn into a beast with a heavier right foot.
The frame is solid and the floor pans are solid although there is a pin hole in the trunk floor.  I inspected from the underside when I installed a new fuel float and it shows the original factory red primer.  The interior was done to a very high level of finish by a previous owner with a much higher level of trim than any Biscayne would have had from the factory.  Two tone brocade with White Vinyl inserts and very high quality original style carpet with heavy wool/jute backing.  Seats are comfortable and springs and padding show no signs of wear.  I figure they must have been completely reupholstered when the rest of the interior was redone.  I have repaired the window registers and all the windows glide up and down smoothly and the quarter vent windows still operate smoothly as well.  T3 style headlamps with floor actuated High Beams. two speed wipers.  Newer replica side mirrors. LED Tail lights for much better visibility than stock. new badges and parking light lenses.  Way too many small parts to list.
What the car needs:  It could benefit from front and rear windshield gaskets. they are still tight but appear dried out.  The quarter vent windows show some minor signs of delamination along the edges. but are in good shape.  The bumpers are original and while in decent shape. the chrome is a little dull.  All the stainless is intact. but only the rear fin pieces have been polished. Minor scratches on the windshield.  Very minor bubbling on lower rear quarters behind wheels but has not gotten any worse since I've owned.  Heater core is blocked off due to leak. but the fan works and all the ducting is present and works.
Radio does not work. but is present.  Paint is a 10 foot job with an older single stage lacquer paint that shows some minor buff through spots where paint appears slightly lighter at some angles in bright sun but holds a great shine and presents very nicely.  Some chips. minor scratches. etc.  Patina is consistent with an older restoration. but the car is a serious head turner.
Great driver. all receipts from my ownership available. best value on the web for this year and make.  Drive it home.
I invite your personal inspection. or that of an agent.  No brokers please.  No trades.
No warranties expressed or implied.  Working odometer reads 89. 00+. but I have no idea of actual mileage.  I have done my best to describe the car in its current condition. but invite your questions.  Additional photos available if needed.
Thanks for looking.
