Life is short and far too hectic. Finding the moments. and the means. to unwind all that is tricky and fleeting at best.  Having opportunities to do something different are equally as rare. Gliding down the road in an iconic American Convertible classic is the perfect opportunity you deserve.

The Cadillac Eldorado is 17 feet of clean lines. comfort and style that surround one of the biggest engines ever put into a production automobile. It's like driving a couch with a rocket behind it. nbsp;all the while. offering all the smoothness and class you expect in a Cadillac. There were 7000 of these produced 42 years ago. There are few that still exist and. nbsp;very. very few that are in this condition.

This gem has 101. 00 original miles; has had 3 owners and has been extremely well taken care of.  Yearly. it has been seen by the same mechanic (23 years) and before that his father. It has been given the very best of care both in regular and proactive maintenance.

I bought this amazing American classic in 2000 from a great man who owned 3 convertible Eldorados all within 3 years of each other. They were regulars in Utah's infamous “Days of '47” parade. This boat has had Utah Governor Norm Bangerter. Senator Orin Hatch and other local dignitaries sitting. smiling and waving on it. I bought it with 97. 00 miles from the previous owner who had owned it for 15 years. He had it in a heated. beautiful garage and was. and has been since. nbsp;doted on.  When I bought it. I was a younger guy with fewer obligations. Since then. I married a beautiful lady and added to the family in the kind that make cruising more difficult.  That beautiful lady also inherited a 1975 MGB that her father restored from the ground up. We can only have one classic car around here. nbsp;and. nbsp;for obvious reasons. my Cadi needs a new home.

This is not a show car. nbsp;but far from a daily driver at the same time. It's 42 years old. and like its current owner has some cracks and creaks. It is not the original paint. nbsp;but was re-painted (before me) and done well. The convertible top was just serviced and has a new motor. I put a new stereo and speakers in it 10 years ago and was adamant (as always) that it didn't affect the integrity of the car.  Infinity speakers in dash and Boston Acoustic speakers in the back required no cutting or alteration of the car. The deck should be replaced but these days that's easy ad cheap.

Cruise control. AC and door locks are not operational at this time. They weren't important to me and never invested in getting them fixed.

It has attributes and alterations that make it a great parade car. if that is of interest. It comes with the original “parade boot” which allows you to sit on the back where the convertible top is stored. Further. because this baby has a huge engine and it has been in parades where it's really hot. it's been equipped with an auxiliary radiator and fans (with switches in the glove box) to assure everything is “cool”.

Come take it for a ride
