1974 Ford Capri MK1 (Facelift) 3.0L GXL for sale

I very reluctantly offer this beautiful example of an unrestored MK1 GXL facelift. This has been in my family for over 35 years and in fact I used to be taken to school in it. There is the original owner and then it came into my family. first my mother had it. it was then owned by my cousin who sold it to me and I have had it ever since. For the past 11 years it has been stored in a (dry) garage. Recently I spent over £1. 00 on a service to get the car ready for sale. New starter motor. new coil. new battery. new HT leads. new water pump. new tyres and reconditioned radiator. Car needs a rear exhaust box (this one is blowing). The car has done approx. 81k miles. It has an old speedometer (that broke on 45k - sold with the car) and the replacement is still working in the car. This car is ready to drive away (is it not converted to unleaded). It is a fabulous example and has to be seen. the metallic bronze really 'pops' in the sunlight. Car has original black vinyl roof (no tears or damage). Car interior is in good condition. drivers side front seat needs rear panel to be mended by very simple job. Headlining is in tact. sunroof works etc. Car is COMPLETELY original. original stereo. speaker the lot. never been tampered with. Car has never been re-sprayed (this is the original colour and the original paint). Save for a couple of panels repaired in the past as you would expect in such an old car. Passenger side door would need re-spray in time. Photo's show areas of rust and blemish. I can send further pictures if you request. Car was 'zebart' from new so the car is solid.
