I want to start off by asking you to please call for honest answers BEFORE you bid. Or better yet. come by and look at the vehicle or have someone inspect it for you. I do the best I can describing my vehicles and I include very good pictures that can be expanded. I do this to try and avoid any misunderstandings. It is impossible to list every little item on a vehicle that may or may not be important to a buyer. Thanks.  
Also. please read the payment section carefully. I will not vary off of what is explained there. Cashiers checks may have hold put on them by my bank. My bank will give me a letter of how long the hold will be. I will forward a copy of the letter to you. The length of hold depends on the bank that it is sent from. Some smaller banks can take up to 10 business days. The car will not leave here until my bank says the check has cleared. No exceptions. That is why I like wire transfers and cash.  
Note: If the car does not sell. I will sell just the engine for $6. 00. 00 which is much less than you could build it for. The plan is to put it on the street with a milder engine if it does not sell.  
This is a very cool. and dependable ex gasser from 1964 that survived over the years and now has went through a complete frame off restoration in 2007 back to the way it was when it ran in the gasser wars.  
Unfortunately. I do not have the history on this car. but as you read the listing. and view the photos. you will see that is definitely an old build.  
Body:  Very straight and always rust free from what I can see. It is an all steel car. including the tilt front end. Frame is original and boxed the way they did it back then. All new tinted glass and all new weather stripping. Chrome is excellent. Paint is outstanding and done in 1997 Ford Tangier Orange code "CC". All graphics are vinyl and can be easily removed. BUT. there is a custom die cast metal car company that is making an exact copy of this particular car including most of the graphics. It will be made by Sun Star and sold by Supercar Collectables. Item # 5106  for $119. 95 and it due out in November of this year. Do a web search for Supercar Collectables.  
Driveline: Aftermarket 434 cu in small block Chevy part # 12480049 built to the max. 14 to 1 compression ratio Mahle forged pistons. Comp Cams full solid roller cam. lifters. nbsp;and Ultra 7/16  1. 5 gold aluminum rocker arms. Part # 12-907-9(14). Grind # 316AR-8. 288 lift and 326 duration. Super Victor intake. Holley 1050 Dominator carb. MSD ignition. Dart Heads. 2 step MSD box. Trans is a race built 350 turbo with reverse manual valve body and Hughes 4700 Stall converter. The funny looking black thing under the engine is a race diaper.  
Suspension: Old school Ford straight axle. 4:56 gears in a vintage Olds rear end with a spool and Moser 31 spline axles. Leaf springs in the rear with custom old school ladder bars. Wheels are vintage slots that have been highly polished. New race tires.  
Interior: Custom made aluminum with full headliner. 6 point roll bar.  Autometer gauges. The seat belts were outdated recently this season. but I have new ones in the box that come with it. There is a removable firewall panel to gain access to the back of the engine.  Behind the easily removable rear panel is a 10 gallon aluminum fuel cell and a new Optima battery. There is a line lock and a trans brake for the adventurous driver.  
This car runs 10:80s all day long on race fuel only and I have the time slips top prove it. It would make a great and consistent bracket car. It is NHRA certified down to 10 flat. It pulls the wheels about 6" to 12" just foot braking it. I did not have the nerves to use the trans brake. The previous owner / builder said he used to pull the wheels quite high sometimes and shifted into second gear while the wheels were still in the air. Car goes straight as an arrow. stops great. and of course. looks great. The headlights and tail lights work but that is it. If you desire to have a street drivable car. you would have to install brake lights and turn signals.  
No expense was spared in this build. I will not give out the reasonable reserve price and there is no buy it now price. Bid to win this great car. Once the reserve is met. I will not end the auction.  
Own a real piece of history with this one. It is not one of those modern day clones you see everywhere.  
I will give out the previous owner / builders contact number to the winning member only. He is a very nice guy and knows the car better than anyone.  
The custom car trailer in the background can be purchased separately if desired. but not before the car sells.

I have a clear title that matches the VIN tag. but the last time it was actually titled was in April of 1958.  
I will not give out my reserve price.  Please do not ask.

Now for the business end. I encourage you. or someone you trust or hire. to come by and check out the vehicle in person. I will refund your deposit if the vehicle does not match the above description. The vehicle does not leave here until all funds clear my bank. Bank and cashiers checks can take up to 10 business days. My bank will give me a letter stating the date when the check will clear. I will forward a copy of the letter to you. Bank transfers can take up to 2 days depending on what time of the day it is initiated on your end. Again. my bank will let me know when it clears. Cash is great if picking it up in person.
