This is the ULTIMATE RIG!  Went through a 5 year ground up restoration in 2004 including: 

-Body taken down to bare metal. sandblasted. primed and repainted Orange and Black. The original truck was rock solid so NO patch panels were needed.

-Engine was broke down and completely rebuilt only 3500 MLS since

-Brand new BF Goodrich AT Tires on original powder coated steel wheels

-High end 2 inch Fab Tech Lift Kit

-New 1 into 2 Dual exhasut

-Aftermarket mechanical guages

-$3000 in new interior using orginal refurbished seat frame

-Aftermarket CD player with speakers under the seat. UN-CUT Dash!!

In Full Disclosure:

-Speedo needs to be hooked up. Original guage cluster not used but can be easily replaced and sourced.  Mechanical guages are now used to show more accurate information.  Common on all older FJ's

-The paint is not "perfect" there are a couple imperfections. See pictures.  

 

No corners were cut. This truck drives incredibly well with no rattles. shimmies. vibrations. etc. There are very FEW of these trucks left in the world!  As you can see from the build description only the BEST available parts. accessories. etc were used. Old cars are just that. old cars. You need to ship it home. Out on the road. many miles from home is not the place to get familiar with your old car. Obviously we cannot stop you. but this is our recommendation.

 

Mileage is Exempt.

Unless we have some documentation we always sell classic cars as mileage exempt. That means we do not know the original miles. What we list in the ad is what the odometer currently reads or is based off rebuild information of the engine and or body/chassis. Also. you cannot do a Carfax or Autocheck on any VEHICLE older than a 1981.
