Classic Renault Estafette Campervan – Runner. UK registered, MOT – Food van

I'm reluctantly selling my Renault Estafette; only due to lack of space/use.  Owned for three years and in that time spent considerable time and money improving it and styling it to my own personally taste.
Kitchen area with two ring hob and worktop. Beneath worktop is a sink. Plenty of storage under sofa/bed. kitchen cabinet and above cab etc.  Front facing removable bench seat with seat-belts (DVLA approved)
Needs some minor fabrication work. The passenger side sill (remember this is left hand drive) needs patching or replacing (£55). Adjacent to the sill is the vertical section of metal that the sliding door shuts against. Again. a small section has rusted through and needs patching – not a major job. Other than that the front passenger wing needs a bit of attention to remove a dent. Overall the body work is around a 7/10. Paint finish with Rustoleum wasn't a cost cutting measure. More so I could achieve the look I desired; namely a weathered look with paint rubbed through to original yellow colour. I've used said paint before on vintage caravans and was impressed by the result. it's tough and easy to repair if scratched. Although the driver and passenger sliding windows work fine. the rubbers and frame do need attention – again not a major job. A few rubbers and door seals need replacing – readily available from a company located by the Renault Estafette Facebook group.
My objective from the start was to iron out the gremlins and make this a reliable family vehicle – which it has been.  It's not fast. but runs and handles just fine and hasn't let me down. Great fun to drive and attracts attention. Parts easy to source and many components shared with other Renault cars of the era. Comfortably slept myself. wife and two children.  Initially. with the high top roof. I had a slatted wood base above the cab area – kids loved it. When they outgrew that a hammock was installed above the removable bench – it worked a treat. Had some great times with this Estafette and I know. in time. I'll regret selling it. It's ready to use and enjoy as is. or an ideal project in which the new owner can make their mark/statement.
