This 1988 Suzuki Samurai has had a Lightening Suzuki Conversions Chevy Vortec V-6 and automatic transmission conversion. V-6 Power with this light little truck is a recipe for off road fun you won't believe.   This is a great little ranch or trail riding buggy you can take to the grocery store. That Engine conversion is just the start of the goodies added to this very capable little jeep. Read On!

Power Steering that makes crawling over stuff a lot more fun. Trail Tough Jeep Wrangler YJ Suspension Kit (Excellent Articulation)Trail Tough Chromoly Double Tough Axels (To handle turning big tires)ARB Air Locker Differentials Front and Rear.   Combine 4. 3 Liters of power and all four wheels turning and this jeep can get you out of trouble (and into some too). New Manual Locking HubsARB Compressor under hood.   Great for reinflating tires if you air down for traction. Custom 1/4" Steel Skid Plate and Front Drive Shaft Tunnel.   You can litterally put the weight of the vehicle on this skid plate and not affect the transfer case. Custom Torsion Bar built for this truck to get all the V-6 power to the ground and prevent the axle from winding up the springs. tire hopping and binding the U joint.   The torsion bar does not restrict articulation of the suspension at all.   A work of art!Spidertrax Disk Brakes all around with a line lock for all wheel parking brakes!Trail Tough Front Stinger Style Bumper with Removeable Tow Bar for Flat TowingTrail Tough Rock Guard (Nerf Bars)Rocky Road Rear Bumper with Gas Can Carrier and Spare Tire Mount and receiver hitchMile Marker 8000 lb winch with wireless and wired remote controlsHi Lift Jack Mounted to Front Bumper (Wheel Lift Strap Included)33"x12. 5" Procomp Extreme Mud Terrain Tires with very little wearOffset wheels to widen the stance and provide total tire clearance4 addtional driving lights mounted on the hoodOptima Red Top Battery for CrankingOptima Yellow Top Battery for Winching (I have installed a relay that switches the winch to the Yellow Top when you turn the Ignition key off to save the cranking battery)Door Removal Kit Installed and Aftermarket Mirrors Mounted Off The Doors so you can leave the doors and soft top off for the ranch or beachBed liner sprayed interior (Just hose the truck out)Original vinyl seats and interiorWeathertec Floor Mats

I purchased this vehicle from Suzuki Lightening Conversions in 2008.   Since then I have used it as a hunting lease vehicle.   The paint is OK. the Interior is OK.   There are no major rust issues on the body panels.   I would replace the interior or get seat covers and maybe camo wrap the jeep if I was going to keep it but I don't have a lease any more.   This jeep has current Texas Registration and was just inspected today! Completely street legal in the state of Texas. It runs exremely well and I've had it over 75 on the highway with no shimmies or shakes. Why spend 10K on a Polaris that you can't drive on the street?
The odometer shows just over 75K miles.

The purchaser is responsible for any costs associated with shipping or picking up the vehicle once payment has cleared the bank. Deposit is required at the completion of the auction.

Additional Technical Specifications:

The transfer case is a stock Suzuki Samurai Case that has 2. 268:1 Low Range and 1. 409:1 High Range

The Axles housings are stock Suzuki but the guts are all Traul Tough "Double Tough" Chromaloy the gearing remains 3. 727

The jeep has so much power I rarely ran it in Low for sand or mud.   If you want to crawl rocks you might consider messing with the gears but I would try it out as it sits before making any changes.   Alan with Lightening Conversions takes one out to Moab every year set up very similar to this.
