Frogeye Sprite Tifosi Healy 1965 MG Midget

Here we have for sale our factory development Frogeye sprite Tifosi Rana.
This car was built up with the 1500 running gear to trial the clearance of this configuration with the kit
The engine has been fully serviced with all fluids and filters replaced. fitted with electronic points which gives faultless reliability and all serviceable parts replaced. the brake flexis have been replaced and fresh brake fluid used.
The car has been painted tartan red. looks fantastic and very period with a few lived in marks! (where the hood has been taken on and off. nd a few on the door shuts we have touch up paint)
It is on original Sprite steel rims with hubcaps. nbsp;genuine Sprite roof and hood frame. also the correct sprite bright work i. e. lights and hood clips
As per the Tifosi kit it retains the wind up windows. midget dash and seats with headrests  
The car has been tremendous fun completing a recent tour round Laon in France (1500 miles!!) never missing a beat! including photos of the car under the Eiffel tower! I use the car as much as possible and is even quite reasonable on fuel! Being on the 1500 running gear the diff ratio is the best available giving gearing suitable for today traffic cruising at a steady 70mph with ease.
It is now time to move her on so we can concentrate on the next project (Sebring sprite is on the cards) the car has had various repairs on the underside and we have thoroughly stone guarded and waxoyld the car to protect it.
The brakes are fantastic on her and its huge fun the 1500 engine pulls tremendously well and sounds very sweet. the clutch strong the gearbox sounds a little mechanical (always has done) but I will chuck in a spare if the buyer wants we also have a spare stainless steel exhaust which I will throw in if wanted also a oil cooler which we hadn't fitted.
Please bear in mind it was our development car so although it hasn't let us down ever (even when left for 6 weeks). there are various little jobs to do on her like the horn push gave up the ghost and is now on a switch under the dash. the rear leafs need replacing as it tramps due to movement in them (replacements provided). the filler cap key broke so it was modified to work. the engine bay could do with some tlc i. e. paint and a good clean. the tyres are all a little old and do scream quite nicely when pushed and are a little perished (hold pressure and completed the france tour on these). there was some slight play in the king pins on the mot it was acceptable at the time but long term they may need looking at.
