I am pleased to offer this charming and very solid late model Austin A35 van.
First registered on 2nd June 1967 to Kent County Council Libraries Department. the A35 features the larger 1098cc engine enabling it to cope better with the cut and thrust of modern traffic.
The Austin was restored three years ago and so is in very tidy condition with no rot whatsoever. Care was taken to preserve the original signwriting and some of the original paint also when it was resprayed. More recently the van has received a full service. a brake system overhaul and a new set of tyres for which receipts are included in the file along with previous MoT certificates and some photos taken during the restoration. An MoT test was carried out in August with no advisories.
On the road the little Austin drives well with no faults although its cruising ability is somewhat limited by the standard back axle ratio.
A rare survivor of its type. the Austin would make an excellent promotional vehicle or simply a very practical and characterful little load carrier which will surely appreciate.
