1965 AMC Rambler 770 Classic Convertible 770 Classic

Here is a really neat 1965 AMC Rambler 770 Classic Convertible. Less than 100K actual miles. Triple white. 287 c. i. 2 barrel V8 engine and 3 speed on the column manual transmission with overdrive. Reclining bucket seats with headrests and beautiful full console. Power Steering. power brakes. and power top. Optional 8 track stereo plays beautifully. Radio comes on but does not play. All lights. horn. signals. E brake. wipers. heater motor. and power top work well. New black carpet. Optional Rambler wire spoke spinner hub caps that are beautiful and mounted on original wheels with new whitewall radial tires. Engine purrs like a kitten. Transmission shifts fine. Complete jack and spare tire. Needs a muffler and the water pump rebuilt. Body is in good condition but there is bondo cracking on both rear quarters as shown. It was repainted many years ago. NO rust in the fenders. hood. doors. trunk lid or trunk area. Frame is fine. All glass is fine and all windows work well. Interior has no rips or tears. but is a little dirty. Seats recline nicely. There is not a ding anywhere on this car. I installed a new battery. tires. fuel filter. thermostat. and flushed the radiator.  The top has no holes but the plastic zip in window needs replaced as it is stained. I think it has an upgraded 990 front grill assembly in place (possibly a factory option??). This is a 2 owner documented car that has spent every year of its life in Colorado. The car comes with an extra and really nice cowl piece. front valance or gravel shield. carburetor. the original rocker moldings. both side moldings. and the original front fender stainless wheel openings.
It also comes with an extra complete 287 c. i. V8 engine (turns fine. has manual bell housing attached. nbsp;and has manifolds). a 1965 Rambler 4 door 6 cylinder complete parts car (buckets. console. dual stick o/d shifter. no title). and 2 extra rear ends.
