Here we have my 1973 Rover 3500 P6 now offered for sale. I use this car regularly and it's a superb drive. very smooth and reliable. I have owned this car now for nearly five years and in that time I have kept it well maintained. with regular oil and filter changes. coolant anti-freeze changed twice. new auto box filter and oil change. diff oil change. Other work includes new brake calipers. rake hoses and pads with complete fluid change. The engine bay reflects a we'll maintained car. also benefiting from an electronic ignition and electric fuel pump which means it's starts first time every time. practical upgrades I'll think you'll agree. The engine purrs and pulls like a train with no unwanted knocks. rattles and no oil burning. Power steering has had a complete overhaul with new hoses fitted and renewed steering fluid. All tyres were replaced two years ago. new exhaust and new battery. Everything works as it should
Exterior wise the car had a complete respray 3 years ago and is a very good with all the important area solid. such as sills(see photo)floors. panel mounting points etc. Doors are also sold. Chrome work is excellent. Vinyl roof is in very good order.  
Interior is in great condition for a 43 year old car with very good leather. also door cards in nice condition. roof lining is presentable. The carpet is 3/4 excellent and original. drivers side needs attention to make it 100% as has worn away a little. It also has its original radio and is fully working.
To summarise. the car is not a show car. but it is a well cared for and maintained car that is used on a weekly basis that will be missed but needs must at the moment so "Ruby" has to go. As with most classic cars of this age there are always arenas that could be improved and small issues that need sorting ie the arial needs replacing. the boot carpets missing. passenger push button not working. all minor really. The Mot is up next month but I expect it to fly through and if I get what I want for the car I will put a new 12 months on it.  I will also throw in the car cover I use for this car.
