Apologies to all those who expressed interest and wanted to come and inspect the car when I last advertised it. My work took me overseas almost immediately after posting the ad. so I was unable to follow up all emails. offers. and viewing requests. Apologies again.  

This stunning example of the Zodiac Mk2 Lowline has to be one of the most original and investment worthy cars available.

In beautiful two-tone green/blue paintwork. with original interior (the bench seats were re-trimmed in 2004).

The car has recent new carpets. nbsp;including boot carpet.

It has an original sun-visor. chrome pillar spotlight (not wired) and new white-walls for added period charm.

With only 2 previous owners. lots of paperwork. MOT's dating back to 2004 and its very original condition. this car is ready for someone to cherish and. nbsp;should they want to. easily get it to show-winning standard. or keep it as an appreciating asset. I cannot however verify the mileage of 32. 00 is genuine or not.

I use the car regularly. it is 100% reliable and never fails to raise a smile. from me behind the wheel. and everyone who we pass.

I have had the car maintained by a classic car specialist. completely regardless of cost. Please see the summary of work done further down this ad.

Is it Perfect?…

Of course not. its 55 years old. But this is a very genuine. low owner. low mileage Zodiac that can easily get to concourse standard.

I travel almost constantly for my work. and simply do not have the time to give this car the love and use it deserves. so I am therefore considering selling to someone who can do the jobs I wanted to do. attend the shows I wanted to attend. and generally enjoy the car as much as I have.

If I were to keep the Zodiac. I would probably have the following as my main list of things to do:

The lower dash could do with a respray (where the key fobs over the years have scratched it)

Remove the modern stereo that has been installed by a previous owner under the dash (for originality)

The paint/colour looks amazing but close up there are bubbles appearing here and there - this is not due to structural rust as the car is incredibly solid. with an underside like no other. but I think the re-spray done around 2004 wasn't prepared as well as it could have been.

Chrome-work is all very good but again with some pitting that you would expect after 55 years - easy re-chrome exercise

Other than that. the car is unbelievable for its age.

The registration number has been valued at £2000. but I personally would never separate it from the car.

I recommend that any serious buyers come and view the car in Weybridge. Surrey and have a proper look around and study the extensive paperwork etc.
