1958 Mercedes 220s Semi Auto Column Change
This is a fantastic car. Drives without fault. Very smooth and the gear change is perfect.
Starts on the button.
All steering. suspension and brakes all work as they should.
Car was imported from Australia. Uk registered and fees paid. Nova doccumentation present.
Last owner in Australia had the car for more than 30 years. Car comes with a large history file to prove.
Copies of the original data card from Mercedes.
Interior is red leather and is in very good condition.
Wooden dash has no cracks or peeling.
All chrome work is in great condition.
Car is totally rust free. floor pan. chassis. inner wings and underside are as new.
Paint work is good and shines well however there is some microblistering on some panels. Cant be seen from a meter away but on closer inspection can be seen. To be 100% a respray would be needed.
So advanced for their day. such a drivable useable classic.
