Authentic 1966 Shelby GT350 "Carryover Car" for sale

SFM6S221 is one of the very few (252) “carryover” GT350's produced in early 1966.   This is an original package tray and radio delete car with Cragar wheels being the only option ordered. and has all the features unique to this small production; override traction bars. limiting cables. lowered A-arms. and 1965 interior to name a few.
It has a great history as the SAAC registry will tell you. Its numbers matching 289 hipo engine has just been rebuilt. detailed and installed. Transmission is a 4spd Toploader. mated to a Cobra Scattershield. Undercarriage is detailed and shows very well. Interior is mostly original with new foam replaced into the seats. Paint is excellent. a good 9 on a 10 scale (a few touched up stone chips).
During my ownership. this car has been driven to most conventions (Yes. I said driven). and has been featured in Auto Enthusiast magazine where it made the cover.  It always does very well at car shows and never disappoints.   Its many awards include "Best of the Marque" at the Rolex Vintage Festival at Limerock. CT in Sept. 2012.
All documentation I've accumulated over the years will be included; SVRA log book. magazine articles. car cover and anything else I can think of.
