This immaculate example has only been In the hands of only 2 owners in the last last 22 years. restored in the 1990's the MOT history supports that the car has been cossetted ever since. only having travelled approx. 5000 miles since restoration. and clearly the paintwork and overall condition would reflect this as it has the look of a car restored much more recently. The MOT history also suggests a lifetime mileage of just over 100. 00 in total so very little since 1967.
Finished in a rich deep red the paintwork is clean and clear with a superb shine. intenally the car carries its original interior in fine condition. including the carpets which being the original are a perfect fit and have very little signs of age or wear.
All chromework is bright and corrosion free. some areas have a little patination with age but does not detract from the cars overall condition.
On the road the engine pulls strongly and the gearbox is tight with crisp precise changes.
There has been a lot of hype in recent times over the very early built 'Jensen' cars but those in the know consider these slightly later built S models (constructed by Volvo in Sweden) to be far better built and desirable. whilst retaining more stylish design cues.
Overall this example wants for nothing and although not concourse in the proper sense of the word ( a term much over used when describing a car ) it is certainly condition 1++ and as such you are invited to inspect the car during the auction - you will not be disappointed.
If you wish to bid or buy without inspection that is absolutely fine. the car is accurately described.  but please be aware I require a £400. 00 non returnable deposit within 48 hours of the auction end - so please. any non viewing bidders bear this in mind should you choose not to view.
