Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow 1

Finished in porcelain white with light tan interior. tax exempt and MOT'd until June 2017. Milometer is showing approx. 21. 00 but realistically it's 121. 00. Always garaged and well-maintained.

We settled on this one in 2009. a more-desirable and appreciating Series 1. Compared to others. this was one of the better ones for the money. Little history came with it. presumably the rest was lost over the years. I do have receipts / paperwork for parts and maintenance done since 2009 from RR specialists.

The original front bumper has been re-plated and rust-proofed; the rear bumper and other chrome and brightwork is pretty good. with only very minor pitting and odd polish marks and is perfectly presentable. New front carpets fitted and the driver's seat squab. backrest and armrest have all been re-trimmed by a specialist. The rest of the interior is pretty good shape and condition - it's used of course. nbsp;but not abused.

Bought partly for Summer shows and partly for weddings. it's always well-received and appreciated. usually with follow-on enquiries. People do seem to enjoy the whole 'classic white Rolls' experience.

There are no real 'bad bits' as such but please do remember that it's over 40 years old and there is the odd minor paint chip/mark. trim dent. etc. Being very picky. I know.

A few things to note:

The boot lock may need adjusting or replacing as the key is needed to unlock it - the lock can't be in the 'unlocked' position;

The n/s/f seat motor works but does not move the seat fore/aft;

The o/s/r door opens and closes normally but doesn't lock.

None of these things were ever 'important' enough to address as the car is never left unattended when out and is garaged when not; I'm told they're fairly straightforward fixes. if inclined.

The cruise control has never worked (do they ever on these??) and the air-con is untested.

An inspection by an RR specialist can be arranged. if required - they charge a reasonable fee for an excellent job. As with anything like this. nbsp;viewing is highly recommended in order to satisfy yourself as to the condition of the vehicle.

Now for sale due to change in circumstances and unfortunate lack of space. time. use and finances.

The asking price is much below market average and than the agreed insurance valuation. As I need a fairly quick sale ideally before the end of September if possible. warm offers are invited.
