EQUIPMENT
Driver's bucket seat. Momo Prototipo steering wheel. RS suspension. 5-speed gearbox. Coco mats. Dash clock. Driver's door mirror. Ventilated disc brakes. Electric heated rear window. Interior lights. Oil gauge. coloured windows. Spare driver's seat. Original front seats. Original steering wheel. Original wheel centre caps.

EXTERIOR
Finished in a dazzling shade of yellow. the paintwork on the Porsche displays a youthful shine and presents well. With few blemishes to note. the 911 is very straight down both sides and retains a lovely aged patina throughout.

Originating from dry US climes this example is structurally sound and very original. It has benefitted from a cosmetic refresh at some point in its life but has never been restored. A ‘72 model such as this is also rare in that it features an oil filler flap on the right-hand rear wheel arch. a feature that was quickly discarded on 911s from July that year. Looking closer the original chrome brightwork presents well. with all lenses clear and free from any moisture.

INTERIOR
The inside of the Porsche is in great order and benefits from brand new front seats and a Momo Prototipo steering wheel. The original seats are still present with the car and remain in good order. but were removed in favour of high quality 911S-spec reproductions. which are upholstered in black leather and corduroy. The driver's side features a period bucket seat in matching upholstery.

The carpets throughout appear brand new and are protected in the foot wells by a set of genuine Coco mats. The rear seats remain in excellent condition and the door cards are free from any scuffs. Under the bonnet the luggage compartment presents well. In fact. beneath the carpet the panels are still painted in their original yellow dustcoat. with the original black wax still present around the suspension turrets.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The engine bay presents in good order. remaining clean and tidy. The rubbers and plastics maintain a healthy appearance and even the factory stickers are still intact. The 2. 4-litre mechanical fuel injection (MFI) engine produces a glorious tone through the recently fitted stainless exhaust - the original is still present - and the five-speed box handles the 911's power perfectly through the gears. The car features an excellent history file and so it is clearly evident that it has always been well maintained.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
The 15-inch Fuchs wheels present well and feature matte centres with attractive polished rims. The centre caps have been removed although they are included with the sale. The wheels are shod in a matching set of Pirelli P6000 tyres with ample tread remaining.

During the Porsche's recent re-commissioning the suspension was fully upgraded to RS specification at great expense using only genuine Porsche components. Equipped with Bilstein shocks all round. the car now sits just right and handles extremely well; it is a true joy to drive.

HISTORY FILE
This E-Series 911T was registered on 1st January 1972 and was supplied new to a Mr Forest Schoeneman Jr a few days later. Since then the car has covered just 89. 32 miles and is complete with a well-documented history throughout. The car remains a very useable example and should be enjoyed for its excellent drivability.

The history file is packed full of receipts and invoices dating early on into the vehicles life and is complemented by the original document holder. owner's manual. and original stamped maintenance book. Period documentation from Porsche is also present including the original bill of sale. Furthermore there is a certificate of authenticity from Porsche as well as numerous invoices for recent works carried out and parts fitted.
