1951 Chevrolet/Chevy Fleetline Fastback Deluxe(Coupe) Fresh import, Very solid

If you're looking for an original Chevy Fastback then this is the one for you. We recently bought this vehicle in Oklahoma from  it's original hillbilly owners and shipped it back to the UK. along with several other vehicles. The pictures give an accurate view of what the car is like. it is totally original as you can see from the patina. the chassis/frame is absolutely 100% solid as is 90% of the car. The only rusty areas are as follows. the boot floor area. 1 area about 8 inches long on the nearside inner sill/rocker panel and break through rust in both lower doors. Other than that it is rock solid and all of these areas are a very easy fix. Mechanically it has no engine and gearbox. nbsp;originally this was a 6 cylinder automatic so it has the shifter on the column.  The rest appears to be there and the vehicle rolls easily and steering all appears good and the tyres hold air. For the purists you may have noticed it has a '52 Chevy grill and not the original '51. this grill came with the car along with several other parts that are included in the sale. There is side glass. the missing chrome trims. inner window frames and probably a few other bits that I've forgotten! This car has so much potential and is a blank canvas for someone. As you can see it comes with a lot of period extras. as in original steel sun visor. fender skirts. hood and rear fender ornaments. plus it even has blue dot rear light lenses! The interior has original seats in useable condition but not nice. The headliner and carpets we removed as these were trashed. we have the original roof frame wires though. The car appears to mostly be there and as I'm sure you know all parts are easily available. The drivers side windscreen is fogged on the edges and the passenger side has a crack. these are less than £100 a side to replace. We have the title for the car and all duties are paid so registering it is very straight forward although we are more than happy to register the car for the new owner if required. When the car is registered it will come with an age related number. free road tax and of course as it's pre '60 it is MOT exempt.
