FULLY RESTORED 1966 MORRIS MINI MINOR MK1

For sale is my 1966 mk1 Morris Mini Minor Super Deluxe with Heritage Certificate

SHELL.

The shell is original and has had new inner and outer A panels. front wings. closing panels. front floor pans driver inner arch. door skins. rear half boot floor. rear valence and closing panels and half sills. Under side of the car wheel arches and engine bay have all been shults sprayed then the whole shell 2k primed and 2k almond green.

EXTERIOR.  

All new window seals. new door rubbers original boot rubber. all original glass number plates etched in all glass. new sliding window channels. wing mirrors. replacement bumpers and badge bar. new Lucas rear lights new gaskets. new Lucas front headlights & rings. indicators and Lucas chrome number plate lamp. NOS original Morris bonnet badge. NOS Desmo wing mirrors. original grill new surround original whiskers new period number plates.

INTERIOR.

Original seats some wear but nearly 50 years old. new carpet and underlay set. original headlining. original heater box new matrix original switches. original door cards and metal trims new bottom dash cover. Motolita period wood rim steering wheel. Wingard washer pump with correct decal and bottle/bracket. new chrome screws to centre binnacle. switch panel & door straps NOS correct courtesy light. all locks operated from 1 key which is the original as listed on the heritage certificate.

 RUNNING GEAR.

Original matching numbers engine. head removed cleaned valves re seated and new gasket. new clutch. fully cleaned and painted mowog green. newly refurbished 1/4" carb to original specification. new hoses. water pump. radiator. nos powder coated fan. thermostat housing. all visible hose clips replaced with original type wire hose clips. original mowog hydrolastic subframes cleaner painted and re built with new components (new ball joints track rod ends anti roll bars cv boots inner and out new drive shaft couplings new drive shaft gaskets and rubbers)original hydrolastic units with replacement nylon lines. also fitted new front dampers to help with the suspension. brakes all new lines all new hoses new hand brake cables new shoes and cylinders. new original lockheed brake & clutch master cylinders. original steel wheels. freshly painted with nice 5. 20. 10 crossply whitewall tyres also spare.

UPGRADES.  

These are the few things I have changed to help with day-to-day use and general running. So alternator fitted that looks like the original dynamo but with the benefit of a much improved charging system And converted to negative earth (kept voltage regulator and linked it out to keep more of an original look in the engine bay). new coil. accuspark electronic ignition. new battery and cover with nos Lucas battery isolator. front dampers on the suspension

All in all I have tried to keep as much as original as possible with some subtle mods a very nice clean example and rare with the Hydrolastic setup still in use.

I have serviced the car with fresh mineral oil. oil filter. air filter & spark plugs.
