I have decided to re-list!  I ended the pickup early as during the time of the listing we had a family bereavement. and just didn't have the time to answer questions and allow viewings.  The funeral has now been and gone and I would like to see my pickup go to a loving new home.

Sadly my Mini Pickup is now up for sale.  It has been professionally and fully restored to a very high standard.  
The restoration has taken place over the last 9 months.  Everything the truck needed it got.  It has had a full re-spray. new interior including Newton Commercial dash and fully refurbished Leather seats (taken from a Nissan Figaro). brand new wheels and tyre's etc. Totalling over £7800.
The pickup had 9 months MOT when I purchased it and since the day I bought it. it hasn't done more than 50 miles. due to the restoration taking place.  I purchased a rebuilt 1275cc MG Metro engine with a 266 fast road kent cam from ebay. fitted it. got it running and took it out for a drive.  Unfortunately it was quite smoky and I have not been able to find out why!  However whilst driving it. it did run beautifully (without any knocks. rattles or bangs) and was very quick.  So I am selling it with an Engine problem.  Suggestions have been made to me regarding the smoke issue. like: glazed bores or the oil rings not correctly seated.  I am not a mechanic (hence purchasing a re-built engine). so I have not investigated any further. it may be an easy fix.  The mot has now expired and can not be renewed as it would fail on emissions. I believe this is the only thing it would fail on. I also need to mention there is no roof lining in the cab. due to the one I did have not fitting.
On a more positive note. this is a superb pickup with a sound body.  It had new heritage door skins fitted and a new heritage bonnet. The wheels and tyres have only covered 20 miles. the refurbished seats have only been sat on once. the brand new Newton Commercial dash hasn't even been fitted.  The re-spray is a fantastic finish and a really fun colour!
NO MOT OR TAX.  SO WILL NEED TO BE TRAILERED AWAY.
I truly would love to keep it. but money has run out!  You can see by the photo's we have a matching car.
