The Spider designation for the open top sports cars originates from the word. speeder. a two person open horse carriage. The Alfa Romeo 105/115 Series Spider was produced from 1966 to 1993. remaining in production for almost three decades. Over that period. only minor aesthetic and mechanical changes were made with Pininfarina assembling the first three series out of the four.  Recently imported from South Africa. this right hand drive Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce. previously owned by the Chairman of the Johannesburg Alfa Romeo Owner's Club. is presented in Alfa Romeo Rosso with black leather seats and Campagnolo alloy wheels you will find a very straight  Alfa Romeo.  
The interior has the rare option of leather seats that are in excellent order. The hood. although good. does have a repaired split rear window. The boot area is clean and shows that a new fuel tank has recently been added. however. this Spider has a NOVA certificate and has import duties paid .  
There are no splits on dash and leather  seats is good with the drivers being rebuilt. If you look at the photos you will see all the panels lines are spot on. This car is lot of fun and drives great.
There is some restoration required. a few things that still could be done the main one i could be touched up but its minor. a deposit of £250 within 1 hour of auction ending by paypal and the balance on collection.
 The car is also yet to be UK registered. it's very easy to do and you will be the first registered keeper in the UK .
I may be able to arrange delivery. ut car will have to be paid for first.
To register its very easy just MOT the vehicle. n vin and SA number plate. Insurance is no longer needed. Fill in form V55/5. Fee £55. SA log book. (which i supply). 2 forms of ID. Send to DVLA and you will have an age related UK plate in 7-10 days.
All import duties have been paid and all supporting NOVA documentation will be available.
These Alfa Spider are rapidly increasing in value and will prove to be an excellent investment.
The Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce is as popular as ever and with this sound and straight example. an important factor. being offered  I feel that it represents excellent value in today's market place for an enthusiast to take to the next level. Mohair soft top
