EXTERIOR
This amazing 2CV is finished in an original colour combination unique to the Dolly model of Burgundy and Cream. affectionately known as ‘Plums and Custard'. A stunning car to look at with a brilliant glossy shine it causes a fantastic response from onlookers! Structurally perfect due to a rebuild from top UK specialists 2CV City which includes a full galvanised chassis. All the correct Dolly decals are present and a stunning Burgundy hood complements the exterior beautifully. Tiny markings to the bottom of the rear passenger door are out of sight and two additional stickers on the boot do not detract from the impressive appearance. A true joy.

INTERIOR
The interior of this Dolly is in remarkable condition. The grey diamond shape material on the seats is undamaged along with all the other trim material. The switches. gauges and warning lights are all fully operational. A small rectangular mark on the black metal dash from the removal of a non-original sticker can be seen. The clean metal floor is protected by the original Citroen rubber over-mats. Factory stickers still remain such as tyre pressure limits on the driver's door and the boot floor is spotless. Delightful.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Having covered very few miles this 2CV Special is in prime mechanical condition. It drives wonderfully with the 2 cylinder 602cc 28bhp engine pulling strongly. The column gear change is like no other car today and is guaranteed to put a big smile on your face!

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
Correct steel wheels with bright undamaged chrome hub-caps are shod in nearly new branded tyres. Two of the wheels have slight isolated paint flake. The spare is immaculate. The vehicle stops quickly and in a straight line with the inboard disc brakes giving a precise and positive feel.

HISTORY FILE
Supplied new on the 10th March 1987 to its first owner. Mr Woodsend who kept the car for 21 years before being purchased by the only other owner. Mr Daniel. in 2008. Mr Daniel set himself a difficult task of buying a one owner unrestored 2CV wanting the peace of mind of an owning a unmolested example. Upon acquisition he commissioned renowned specialists. 2CV City to carry out a rebuild at a significant cost. (invoice in the file). including the all-important galvanised chassis.

This vehicle now presents itself to a lucky third owner who wants an iconic and quirky 2CV with masses of Gallic charm!
