First registered on the 8th of November 1965. this original Ermine White Ford Cortina 1500GT Air Flow was sold to Richard Black of Newburgh. Scotland. From there it has had 5 owners which we can see from the original logbook in the vast history folder. the last of which is from 2009 and all it's life it has been in Scotland. The car itself is presented in what can only be described as show stopping condition. On the outside the paintwork is immaculately detailed and as new. The underside being just as clean as the top (as you can see from the photo of the inner wheel arch). The engine bay is much the same. beautifully clean and detailed by a meticulous owner who spared no expense in ensuring the car was perfectly presented. As you can see from the strut tops there has been no welding work and is very straight and correct. the engine itself runs incredibly smoothly and gives a sound which simply acts as a time machine back to the good old days! The interior is presented as original and again. as per the rest of the car. stunning. It even has the original and fully operating radio. The history folder details all of the ongoing upkeep of the car with multiple receipts for replacement parts or refurbishment of existing parts as well as a significant number of MOT certificates and photos of the car during it's life time. It is fitted with Lotus Cortina 5. 5J wheels. The car shows a mileage of 12. 69 miles (unwarranted). Just last week Brooklands sold a Dark Green 1500GT pre-airflow in similar condition to this car for £26. 80 + Auction commission @10%.
