 BODY WAS PANEL BEATED AND MINIMUM FILLER WAS USED TO SMOOTH PANELS
 BODY WAS HIGH FILL PRIMED. BLOCK SANDED USING 15 DIFFERENT DURABLOCKS TO ENSURE VERY STRAIGHT PANELS AND PERFECT CURVES
 TOP COAT IS A 2 PAC SOLID COLOUR. THE COLOUR IS THE ORIGINAL ATHERTON
IVORY ROOF AND SILVERTON GREY BODY
 ALL PANELS HAVE BEEN COLOUR SANDED AND BUFFED TO A BRILLIANT FINISH
 DOOR JAMS. UNDERNEATH BONNET. BOOT AND INSIDE HAVE ALSO BEEN PAINTED
 BOOT AND ENGINE BAY HAVE BEEN PAINTED IN HIGH GLOSS 2 PAC BLACK
 UNDERNEATH CAR ETCH PRIMED. SEAM SEALED AND BODY DEADENER APPLIED
 WHEN COLOUR SANDING I DID SAND THROUGH ON ONE SPOT BUT IS
VERY MINIMAL  A SMALL BLEMISH ON THE FRONT RIGHT
FENDER THE SIZE OF A 5 CENT PIECE. HARDLY NOTICEABLE
 OVERALL I WOULD SAY THAT THE PAINT FINISH WOULD BE A 9 OUT OF 10

I purchased the Holden EJ Special as a media blasted shell plus some parts and thought
that this would be a good foundation to start with. I quickly realised how many parts I was
missing. Over the four and a half years of restoring the EJ I purchased two more wrecks and
many more parts over that time to create something very special. I am a metal fabricator
and I take great pride in my work and what you see and read about in this ad will show the
meticulous quality and attention to detail that has been put into this vehicle. This is as close
to new that this car can achieve.
The vehicle has had a complete nut and bolt restoration (not one bolt was left on car). I
have poured about 30 to 35 thousand dollars and hundreds and hundreds of man hours into
the EJ. I have always strived for perfection and considering this is my first full restoration the
people around me believe I have done a beautiful job.
The Holden EJ has been restored back to original looking but to a higher quality than
from factory such as the 2 Pac paint work. to the stainless steel bolts fitted and the trimatic
automatic transmission fitted. The trimatic and hr diff centre are the only non-original items
on the car and was chosen because of smoother gear changes. better fuel economy at
freeway speeds and for potential engine upgrades in future if wanted.
Words cannot describe this Holden EJ but this is one of the tidiest original EJ's I have
seen. Come and inspect for yourself and you be the judge.
I very reluctantly would like to sell this Holden EJ Special to fund another project.
