This is car was supplied new to America and spent its time in kentucky (i have the kentucky certificate of title) for some unknown reason it was parked in a barn in 1984 and left there till the spring of this year. the following are observations from looking at the car in detail. The car appears to be totally complete and original apart from 1 missing windscreen wiper !!The chassis and outriggers all appear sound and solid (visual inspection only) and some of the chassis paint is still intactThe car does not appear to have any accident damageIt does not appear to have had any restoration/repair work done in its lifetimeThe hood frame goes up fine It has keys for ignition and bootThere is no sag in the chassis at all and all lines seem OK
It will need a full restoration body work required will including but not be limited to New floors and footwell floors lower wing repair panels to rear of front wings and front of rear wingsnew cillsnew boot floorEngine doesn't turn at present but think it is just because it has stood for so long. also has a stuck rear wheel
This is a lovely car is the perfect start for a top end restoration its straight. complete. and structurally looks solid. i would keep it but a 1932 Alvis came along and stole my heart! and if i keep the healey i won't know which one to work on
I may be advertising this else where so i reserve the right to end the listing early. viewing by appointment is welcome but please don't waste my time. i am in no rush or need to sell. a cash deposit of 10% will need to be paid within 24 hrs of purchase the balance of funds will need to be cleared in my account before collection and anybody with out a decent ebay record needs to talk to me before making an offer else i will delete the bid.
