History

This car was originally commissioned as a GP4 Monto Carlo Replica to a concourse level of preparation. finish and an authentic level taking over 5 years to complete. all parts were either new or rebuilt at this time.

This conversion & build is of professional quality – not a DIY job.

Whist the car was built to be an investment and a show piece with a little work would be eligible for historic competition use. The build was a complete nut and bolt stating from an excellent shell that I imported to ensure minimum corrosion.  

The car is totally road legal and never been used in anger. the car has been regularly displayed at car shows and has featured at the Autosport shows at the NEC. All the docs V5 / MOT certificates are with the vehicle. Since completion the car has only covered 1280 miles and yet to be run in!

Every item /part works as it should and attracts a gasping audience and naturally hundreds of camera shots along with many questions.

The car is sitting in secure heated storage and did 10 miles last year (always transported / started regularly) and needs to see more daylight and show the younger generation what an iconic rally car the Escort really is.

 

Why am I selling?

 I unfortunately have no longer the time to turn heads however in no mad rush to sell as the wife is not pestering me and I am not skint!
