1981 Triumph TR7 Coupe

Up for sale is my beloved TR7. I am the cars third owner. and i can honestly say that it has been well loved and cared for all its life. As such it is in very good condition for its age. and would be better than 95% of other examples. It has a custom paint job. incorporating its original white colour and is coupled with a dark metallic maroon. Needless to say the TR has had ongoing attention to rust and currently has none.


Interior wise. the vehicle is completely reupholstered. with quality black leather to the seats and door trims. all other roof linings and carpets etc. are also replaced. to original specifications. Inside the boot. this has also be relined. All the electrical items in the vehicle work. and the only current fault is with the horn which requires a ten dollar relay.


Exterior wise. the car is very good for its age. The custom paint job. being approx. `10 years old. has been professionally maintained as required. and currently requires no attention. The car has a good lustre and performs well with close up inspection. All the panels doors etc. fit well. The car has new Pirelli tyres and has mini lite wheels to add to the beauty of the car.


Mechanically. the car is also in very good condition. and has always been maintained by Triumph professionals. The car has been modified mildly to increase reliability. and supports twin zenith stromberg carbs. All other mechanical work has been done to a very high level. and there is nothing that currently requires attention.


The car is located in Taroona Tasmania. and you are welcome to view and test drive. It is important to mention that this car has always been exceptionally maintained and treated. and anyone wishing to test drive will be informed that they will not be allowed to 'race' the vehicle. Further. should you wish to speak with cars most recent mechanic. to attain an alternate reference. this would be most welcome.

I travel to the east coast of the mainland regularly as such I can deliver the car to you for the cost of the fuel and the ferry to the east coast of Australia. from Melbourne to Brisbane.   I would ask that you meet me at the local airport to accept delivery of the vehicle.  Payment must be received in full. prior to travel being started.

Now with stoopidly low reserve .  I'm sad to see this car go. but we now need the $$ it will be sold far below its value to collectors
