Austin Cambridge A55 Mk2 1961. Grey with Red Leather.

This is a very solid & original car. low mileage. original engine & gearbox.

The registration number & number plates are also original & has been recently valued at £1000 to the seller.  

All body panels are original. wings. sills. wheel arches all have the spot welds visible. nbsp;the only welding ever done has been to the front cross member beneath the radiator & a small patch on the chassis.

There is some light corrosion to the lower front wings. rear doors & lower rear R/H wing behind the wheel. all very easy to repair. there are also a number of small dings & dents to some of the outer panels. not serious & again very easy to repair. The grey paint work is a little flat. but mostly original. The chrome work is ok. not perfect but quite acceptable. The red leather interior is all original & in pretty good clean condition.

The brakes have recently been overhauled. having had new linings fitted front & rear. some new wheel cylinders & new seals fitted to the rest. new master cylinder & new flexi hoses. The clutch was replaced approximately 1000 miles ago & new seals fitted to the hydraulics. The Battery is fairly new. the tyres. crossplys. have plenty of tread. the exhaust is good. everything works as it should & the car has been recently serviced.

Twin SU MGB carburettors & distributor have been fitted. the original parts are present & will go with the car so they can be re-fitted if required. There is a folder full of receipts. old MOTs etc. some dating back to the 60s.

I've owned & enjoyed the car since 2008. having attended several classic car shows & events. it has been a real pleasure to drive & maintain.
