NO PART EX NO SWAP MONEY ONLY.

1956 Ford F100 short wheelbase stepside pickup. Y-block V8. 3 on the tree manual. fresh import. just registered. V5 here in my name. It came in as a non runner and missing its fuel tank but we got it running from a can and hot wired to the coil as wiring is a mess and needs re-done. It runs very very sweet. smooth and quiet. tappets need adjusted a wee bit but that's it. The gearbox engaged each gear and we moved it forwards and backwards to park it. but brakes need a full overhaul and master cylinder is missing. We purchased a good used fuel tank and filler neck so that goes with it. Chassis is dead straight and in excellent condition. buck is good but needs new bed wood. cab is decent but does need some repair at some of the usual spots. There is heavy bubbling at both front corners of the roof and a little perforation at edge of roof skin. common on this cab style. Floors are basically solid. just needing a couple of small localised repairs. Damage to front valance as seen in the pic (driver side behind bumper)Glass is all decent. rubbers old and hard. Seat is decent. looks like a recent re-cover but is just sitting in place. Doors and inside roof are all covered in the same light grey material. Somebody fitted electric windows to the doors. and although wiring needs replaced. the passenger door glass did work. Tyres obviously shot and it has an odd wheel. but we may have others here to make a set. I think it has spent some time in Honolulu going by the police registration sticker on the windscreen. though we imported it from California. All in all a very good base for a restoration or hot rod. or do the minimum and get it on the road quickly and use it. These are getting harder to find now and with the poor exchange rate they are getting more expensive all the time. I wont put the price up to negotiate it down again so it is FIRM at £7750 and remember it is UK registered so that's something you don't need to worry about. I can organise delivery for you using a local professional car carrier. but I MUST STRESS that I am only a customer of theirs. I have no control over the delivery once I drop the vehicle at their yard. I can only tell you what they tell me regarding delivery. The vehicle MUST be paid in full before it leaves my yard NO EXCEPTIONS. the delivery driver CANNOT take money for vehicles. You WILL pay the delivery driver in cash for the delivery only. Payment for the vehicle can be made by cash. bank transfer or a cheque which must clear before vehicle leaves me. If you cannot adhere to these conditions. please do not waste both yours and my time with endless e-mails. texts. etc only to end up with a failed deal as you don't have the bottle to pay for the vehicle. You always have the option to come and view it and meet me in person before buying. Viewing by appointment only as I'm not always at the yard. I could be out on a recovery job. delivering a truck locally or driving a tanker as I do relief driving for a fuel delivery company as well.
