1966 VW Classic Beetle - Violet 1600cc, Roof Rack, Visor, Lowered, Tax Free for sale

I am selling my lovely 1966 Tax Exempt VW Beetle 'Violet' due to lack of use.  
Since I have owned the car (bought March 2012) I have had it lowered. changed the wheels to 5 spoke. bought a Flat 4 roof rack & very expensive German visor for her. I also bought a US Spec bumper for the back & have been looking for one for the front but no luck yet! 
I have never had to touch the engine as she has always started straight away & never misses a beat ! 
The interior headlining. carpets. back seat & passenger seat is good. drivers seat has a tear down it but it could be patched up or changed. the door panels are now black & not colorful like they were in the magazine pics (see above). I do not have the old door panels but I still have the jazzy 80's speedo from that time! 
Violet's body is also in great shape. there are a few marks here & there but nothing that you would not expect from a car of that age. I did not want to buy a show piece just something that starts. drives well & looks cool. she is all of those things and is a real head turner ! 
'Violet' was a show car back in the 80's and appeared in the magazine 'Street Machine' in June 1989
