I'm not going to give a history lesson on the 1969 Hurst Olds. instead I'm going to tell you about this particlar Hurst Olds.

I bought the car in 1998. off a fresh frame off rebuild. I have made every effort to make this car as period correct as possible. This is a numbers matching car. I tried to take pics of the vin block numbers. and the vin transmission numbers. but couldn't come up with anything viewable. You will see pics of the D Heads and the tranmission production tag OH. which is the only transmission that was used in 69 HOs. Carburetor. intake manifold. ram air. and distributor are all correct. This is a non AC car. which means its has a twelve bolt 3. 42 possi rear end. not the 3. 23. I have put around 6. 00 miles since purchase. The car has never had alchohol gas in it. and has never been driven in the rain (NEVER). Power steering . AM Radio. Rallye Pac Gauges. nd Tic Tok Tac. (the clock doesn't work. but the Tac does) and the special OH Turbo 400 transmission. This is a high quality show car not a driver! This Oldsmobile is number 189 on the Hurst Olds registry. it was never registered with Hurst. so it does not have a Hurst numbered plaque. I have the original protect o plate. warranty certificate. ccessory catolog. the Hurst Olds folder. and owners manual. This car was purchased from Cline Oldsmobile. in Minneapolis St. Paul. in June 1969.

I'll start at the front bumber and work towards the rear. The front bumber was rechromed two years ago and the shocks were replaced last year(painted them gray to appear stock). The head lights are original T-3 headlights. spares bulbs go with the car. Under the hood is beautiful: Gm belts and hoses. new heater core. new power booster. date coded spark plug wires. Green ring AC spark plugs. 71S battery. snap ring battery cables. blue AC Oil Filter (replaced two years ago). F-70 15 inch Goodyear Polyglas Raised White Letters tires. numbers on wiper motor. had started rewound (high torque). deluxe steer wheel. custom floormats. custom shift knob (has H/O symbol in it. the original is in the glove box). new knobs on air vents. date coded glass in outside mirrors. new trunk mat. also Oldsmobile rubber accessory trunk mat. full decals (seal on radiator cap. tuning info. and antifreese specs under hood). engine code on oil tube. tire air pressure drivers door. jack storage. jacking instructions. and anti spin decals in trunk. I also added custom license plate frames that show the Olds Rocket and say OLDSMOBILE. If you have ever noticed. the 1969 Hurst Olds. doesn't say Oldsmobile in many places. The differencial also has the anti spin metal tag. put on where the assembly manual designated.

This car is a proven winner. everwhere we go. this car attracts more attension than most others. because of its condition and rarity. We have only shown this car locally. and the awards are so numerous. Best Muscle Car. Best GM. Best 60's. est Stock. Best Paint. Best Orphan. an occasional Best of Show. and one Best Horn. (even a second Best Interior) In 2004 we did our one and only Concours event: a score of 97. 25 and a second place. This car is very fast. and with the polyglass tires. doesn't handle as well as it would with radials. I wanted the car so stock. that I put up with the polyglass. Every fall. the car is garaged. and on jack stands. so as not to flat spot the tires. I replaced the tires because of age not wear. I had the starter rebuilt with extra windings. it behaves like a high torgue starter. When these big blocks get warm. the starter will drag. and sometimes they won't start. this one will. Problem corrected! Over the years. he car has had minor dings and things in the paint. that weren't just right. Things like: seam visable where B pillar hooks to roof (fixed). gold paint on front of hood chipped (hood repainted). All repairs where done to the highest quality available. One of the acalades I'm most proud of. this 1969 Hurst Olds. was the Demo car for the Xbox Game "Forza 4". (with the car will go: the game Microsoft sent us. nopened. and the digital movies I took). You bet I can prove it!

This car has been like a family member. thats why we have kept it in such nice condition. I have a back condition that is going to worsen with time. I would rather sell this car. than have it sit. it needs to be seen and enjoyed. I will make every effort to answer all questions in a timely manner. I will have a reasonable reserve price on it. The car is also for sale locally. so auction could end unexpectedly if a local buyer is found. I will also make an extensive list of memorabilla and extra parts that go with the car. This car is show worthy today. just in time for summer. If anyone wants further pictures. I have lots more.

The last picture is two rock chips on rocker panel passenger side under the door. this is the only exterior damage that I am aware of. I can make car available for viewing upon request. Will answer all questions ASAP. I will also help with shipping. if I can.
