Classic Mini 1275 GT Clubman

Welcome to my auction for a rare Classic Mini 1275 GT (Clubman)! This is a unique opportunity to own a slice of British motoring as these do not come up very often in this condition.
Let me start at the beginning.
About 10 years I was working with a chap who is now a good friend of mine. He had just inherited this car from his old school friend who. 10 years or so prior. as a Ford apprentice sometime in the 1980/90s. had rebuilt the engine unit to a very high standard. The deal between my friend and his school friend was that if he got it commisioned then they would car share it. However my friend never quite got round to doing it so it basically stood for circa 20 years all in between them. The best news is that for all that time it was garaged. Phew!
Fast forward to February this year and my friend got in contact with me asking if I was interested in buying it. Long story short we agreed a figure and the car was immediately transported to Mintro Centre (Mini and Metro Specialists) for full recomissioning. This included:

Unfortunately I cannot justify owning two GTs. 2 Beetles and a Camper Van which I want to finish restoring so this has to go. It idles solid and revs amazing. She really does shift and is a testament to the Ford apprentice who rebuilt her. The car passed the MOT with no worries.
The V5 log book is correct showing that this is a genuine 1275GT.
