This is an excellent example of the BJ8 Big Healey with roll up windows and electric overdrive. I purchased the car in October of last year and although in overall good condition I had it shipped to British Motor Corp. in Philidelphia. A. experts in Healey restorations and repair. They went through the car from frt to back as per included invoice copy of work completed this Spring. Includes Mallory dual point dist. . ual fuel pumps with dash switch. pdated and reworked frt end as needed. The car has five 72 spoke wires balanced and tuned. New cloth top. eats and panels recovered as needed. New carpet and insulation. ebuilt transmission. ngine was fine with 149 to 150 psi on each cyl. New enlarged radiator and fan and runs cool at speed in the 80 to 90 degree area New rubber seals for windows with all top rubber updated . Windows fit tight to top when up. and do not rattle when down. I can supply the previous work listed by the previous owner covering the last 12 years of his ownership as listed by same but I cannot verify his statements . I have many reciepts showing my total investment in 64 K area. verifyable by my available receipts. All new stainless exhaust to exit on the left side and returned to the great Healey sound of earlier cars. This car is now updated to above average driver and show condition. Reson for selling is new classic car project and need space and captiol.
