WHITE PAINT. WHITE TOP. WHITE INTERIOR. Painted 7 years ago; new top 4 years ago; new leather seat covers 3 years ago; The GREAT-LOOKING shiny new Chevrolet side exhaust pipes & covers are the "real McCoy" and were installed 3 years ago (go to the YouTube one-click link that is pasted below to see and hear them - you'll fall in love); Rebuilt transmission 3 years ago. and soooo much more has been replaced on this car it would take too long of a list to document it all.   I have 2 folders each 3” thick with receipts. Only the best went into this car. This car looks and sounds GREAT! It is period correct (except for the side pipes which technically were only available on the 1969 Corvette). Otherwise it looks just like it did when it came off the showroom floor. down to things as small as various decals on the car (like the coolant decal on the fan shroud ;  emissions decal on the left side of the firewall ;  tire pressure decal on the left door jamb;  spare tire decal on the backside of the rear storage box. etc.   No detail was too much or too time-consuming to do for this car.   Another example of the pain-staking details that went into this car is that it not only has the original type of A/C system (including the original style V. I. R. <Valve In Receiver>) from back then. but it is also charged with the period-correct R12 freon (for reference. now all cars have R134 since about the early 90's if I remember correctly). This car's A/C blows COLD with the R12.   The car is a matching numbers car. including it has it's original 350 c. i. engine. and originally came with an automatic transmission. factory A/C. PS. PB. AM/FM stereo. tilt & telescopic steering wheel. rally wheels. leather interior. deluxe door trim panels. It also has the very rare shoulder belt harnesses. of which this option was only purchased on a very few cars that year (the lap belts were standard equipment and all cars came with). I think the only option this car did not have was power windows. In 1973 cruise control was not offered (I think 1977 was the first year for that option). As far as the alloy wheel option (P02 I think?). if I remember correctly GM did put this option on only 2 cars in early 1973. but it was subsequently soon cancelled due to some manufacturing issues with those wheels.

While there have been a lot of restorations on this car. the overwhelming majority (99. 99%) of it was put back EXACTLY to the way these cars looked when they came out of the factory back in 1973. The production date on this one was January 1973.

The engine is the original one (numbers matching stamped on the flat pad on the right front of the engine as was normal from Chevrolet). The only changes to the engine is that I installed a GREAT SOUNDING camshaft (and an alum intake and Holley carburetor). This cam. combined with the side exhaust makes this car sound like a beast! (I made a YouTube video of it idling. click below to have a listen.
