This beautiful example has been in the same ownership for all of its life. Originally registered at Heathrow BMW on 28th April 1998. it started life with a lease company and was used as a company car. After four years. the gentleman who was driving it as a company car loved it so much. decided to buy it from the lease company and has owned it ever since. So. although the V5 specifies one former keeper. it has actually only been driven by one person.  
The car has only 112000 miles from new and has been fully maintained and serviced on schedule initially by Heathrow BMW Ltd followed by an independent  BMW specialist garage. The service book is present with 12 stamps.  It has recently had a major service (Inspection 2) at 108238 miles.  MOT until 21st March 2017.  
This is a very well looked after car. you can tell by the way it drives…  it is perfect. The Automatic gearbox is superb and as this is not the Sport model . the suspension is super smooth. It has the fantastic and powerful BMW 2. 8 litre straight 6 cylinder engine. it is a joy to drive. the delivery of power is perfect as you would expect from a pedigree like this. It averages 30mpg around town and 38mpg on longer runs. The road tax is £235 per year or £125 for 6 months.

The interior is absolutely beautiful. finished in full black leather with walnut trim. Everything works as it should and being the top of the range 328i. there is lots of equipment including; Automatic Climate Control (working). 6 Cd Changer. Electric Windows. Electric Mirrors. Heated Seats. Switchable Automatic Box. Front Arm Rest. 18 Button On Board Computer. nbsp; Auto Dim Rear View Mirror. Remote Central Locking/Alarm. Folding Rear Seats. ABS. Airbags. Rear Headrests.  It has easily stood up to the test of time with minimum wear. it is a genuinely nice place to be.  
Everything seems so well put together. it's things like the quality of the switches and controls. the reassuring sound of the door clunk. and just the overall feel to remind you that you are driving something special… testament to BMW build quality. Original BMW glove box torch. original BMW stereo and a full set of keys are all still present.

The Exterior is finished in Arctic Silver and is almost unmarked with no rust. This era of BMW styling was very good and the E36 is ageing very nicely. it still looks very elegant and imposing. There are some minor age related marks under close scrutiny. but this is to be expected due to the age of the car. The offside front fog lamp is slightly cracked.  The paintwork is still bright and the plastics have remained dark. The alloys are in excellent condition and all four tyres are good. Garaged all of its life. This is a handsome car and because it falls into the modern classic sector. it seems to draw a lot of positive attention.

This is an un-abused. 100% original. low ownership E36 328i coupe. I am emphasising this due to the fact that these are actually quite hard to come by these days. As we all know. these cars often get into the wrong hands and are unfortunately neglected and ultimately disappear. It is a treat to see an example like this which doesn't fall into that category and has had a relatively easy life. Nothing has been added to it or taken away from it. the alloys are standard. the headlights are standard. the suspension is standard. even the stereo is original. It has been fastidiously looked after. serviced on schedule. garaged. loved and cherished. I hope this affection continues by the new keeper.
