This numbers matching wonder is still wearing the original paint on the outside and the same vinyl on the inside. This 1965 Fury for sale has the original engine and transmission still in place and working well. Under the hood lives the legendary 318 CID V8 that after 51 years and 37. 70 miles is finally broken in. Backing this almost new engine is the 727 Torqueflite 3 speed automatic transmission that with this kind of miles per year should last another 199 years or so. The interior of this survivor is clean and well preserved. The vinyl is soft and shows no signs of cracking. The carpet is clean and untorn. Headliner tight and unstained. just as you would expect for a car with less than 38. 00 miles but not at all what you would expect of a car that is 51 years old! In 1965 you could buy the fury. fury II or the one that is three time the Fury of the others. In 1965 the Fury III was the car to own with plenty of power. a great ride. lots of room and plenty of style. I guess it is still the car to own.
